LINE DEVELOPER DAY 2020 Code of Conduct
Open to everyone who is interested, LINE Dev Day 2020 is a conference committed to providing a safe and comfortable environment that respects the human rights of all of its participants.
The terms outlined in this Code of Conduct applies to all who participate in LINE Dev Day 2020.
Notes:
1. "Participant" refers to anyone involved in the conference, including attendees, exhibitors, speakers, judges, operating staff, organizers, and sponsors.
2. LINE Corporation reserves the right to modify the Code of Conduct at any time.

1. Discrimination and Harassment

LINE Dev Day 2020 is dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable event for all of its participants regardless of their attributes, including but not limited to age, gender, disability, physical appearance, body size, marital status, political views, race, ethnicity, nationality,
religion, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, and choice of technology. Regardless of intent, all forms of harassment will not be tolerated. Below are some examples.

• Intimidation; persistent, unwanted following; stalking
• Obstructing presentations, lectures, or workshops
• Harassing photography, video recording, or audio recording
• All forms of sexual harassment, including inappropriate physical contact, sexual remarks, and lewd behavior
• Using language or displaying images, videos, or other types of content that are sexually suggestive, excludes social minorities, or inappropriate in any other way
• Obstructing all or part of the event in ways other than described above
• Suggesting, instigating, assisting, endorsing, or encouraging any of the acts listed above

Harassment of any form will not be tolerated in any place or situation related to LINE Dev Day 2020, including but not limited to: - main event (presentations, lectures, and workshops) - post-event parties - social media (LINE, Twitter, etc.) - other online media (posting comments about the event, etc.)

2. Dangerous Conduct

Dangerous conduct includes destruction or theft of event venue property or the property of participants as well as unauthorized use of items prohibited under the event venue policy. Such misconduct will not be allowed.
During any part of the online event, participants' video feed should not display any items that could cause fear, discomfort, or reasonable concern to others, such as legally prohibited items, weapons, and other harmful materials.

3. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, witness any violation of this code of conduct, or have any other concerns, please contact a staff member or the event's organizing committee immediately. Any information provided by reporters will be carefully handled according to the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other relevant laws.

4. LINE reserves the right to and will take any action deemed appropriate by LINE Dev Day 2020's organizing committee against participants who violate this code of conduct or engage in equivalent behavior. Such action includes warning the offender, removing the offender from the event with no refund, and banning the offender from any future LINE events. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to immediately comply with the instructions of LINE Dev Day 2020's organizing committee and event staff.
